OK, I really should be working on my P&P prints that are due but I had so much fun playing with the girls the other night while we tried to take a picture for our Christmas cards I had to share. We did go to a professional by the way, to get their pictures done that is; it ended up being pretty pricey $9 for EACH 4x6!!! She did take a ton of photos and a few of them were quite irresistible but darn it we are in a recession! Anywho, I picked my photos for the card then realized that it will take two weeks to get them...uh, that would be mid December. So I panicked a little and whipped out my trusty (not fancy) digital camera. I do have a fancy camera but it is the old fashioned 35mm kind...who uses those anymore??? Actually, I think I still have a roll of film in there that is not completed from when Addison was born. So, I shot a whole bunch of...nothing really. Let's face it; I am not photographer although I LOVE to take pictures. I have no studio in my home, just baby blankets (and mini blinds)...lol. I am also very impatient and have to have everything NOW which is why I took the pictures at night and did not wait until the next day when the lighting would have been better. Did I mention how impatient I am? Seriously bad idea, I was so coo coo about this I did not even change Peyton out of her uniform shirt or fix her hair. I have mini blinds for a backdrop! What the heck was I thinking? Thank goodness my ability to reason and not send out tacky Christmas cards overpowered my impatientness. Needless to say I ended up ordering some Christmas cards through the photographer. Since they cost a small fortune I am limited, sorry guys; they will only go to immediate family this year :O(. BUT...I will scan it and post it here when it arrives...ta da! By the way...I did not realize how stinkin hard it is to get your 6 year old to focus and smile pretty. I thought the work would be with the baby, I was wrong. Peyton is going through the funky smile stage right now as most kids her age are I suspect.
SISTERS
Here's our Peanut...
Addie was having a blast...Peyton not so much. Although she was cracking up it really did hurt. I snapped the picture just as she was saying "Ouoooch". Get her Addie...lol
After we messed around for a while it was time for Peyton to get back to her homework. What a good girl!
OK, so this picture does not belong here as I did not take it with the others. But it is a really cute picture of Peyton listening to the iPod so I had to throw it in...after all it was a contender for the homemade Christmas card.
