So here's the scoop!

Life has been crazy busy, crazy scary, crazy good. Some of you may be reading this and learning it for the first time others of you already know... The Corsetti Family is moving alllll the waaaaay across these here United States to Pennsylvania! Yep, Jason got a job, a good job, a job that he is happy with. It is right up his ally and what he does best and so far he seems to be enjoying it. He started back in mid May and the girls and I stayed out here for Peyton to finish school. Now that she is out we have been packing like crazy with the help of family and friends. Wow, did anyone know how much (beep) I had? I tried to let some of it go and I did actually but there still so much more! Anyway, the movers come on Sunday June 28th to take everything to PA. We are renting a home for a while and have already picked a school for Peyton. Things are moving along. The girls and I will be here in CA until the end of July visiting family and friends then Jason will come down for a few days to say our "goodbyes" or "see you laters" for those who do not want to here the bad word, and we will head "home" to PA on July 26th.

I may or may not post due to no computer for the next month but never fear, once we are in PA I will be giving a play by play of our new adventure for you all.

In the mean time here are some random pics I'd like to share with you. Some of the girls and some of my cakes that I have been working on. If you remember I started a course 1 cake class a few months back and when we finished I asked to skip to course 4 fondant. We'll here is what I have done in that class. OH...and Addie has two bottom teeth!

I painted faces for a friend's daughter's 2nd birthday. Here is Peyton's kitty cat.

Here are some shots of Peyton from her schools spirit week in May.

Rock climbing at Discovery Science Center

Peyton at the talent show, I had NO idea what the girl was going to pull out of her hat!

Addison just being Addison...

Yum Yum for your tum tum...

Here is my pink high heel zebra cake. I donated it as a raffle prize for Family Night. Due to lack of time I was not able to put a border on it the night I made it, so Rose graciously picked it up from the school and but a hot pink fringe border on the bottom with a grass tip. Makes a big difference (thanks Rose).

This is my first fondant cake

I made this one for Stephanie's birthday...she's crazy about flamingos

Rose and I made this one together for the teacher's end of the year luncheon

This one was for Drew's 2nd birthday. I used fondant for the eyes, nose, and mouth, and buttercream for the face for a little different look.

I was dying to use whip cream frosting. I had been working hard on learning how to make pretty cakes and I wanted to make one that taste good too LOL. I do not like the taste of buttercream or fondant so I never eat the cakes I make in class...which is a good thing! This one however...we ate all up!
