We met with Dr. Bailey today and left with a feeling of reassurance. He is a sweet, humble, caring man. We felt he was very attentive to our concerns and took his time answering all of our questions while sitting next to Addison and holding her tiny hand the whole time. His staff was very pleasant and made us feel very comfortable. Addison even received her very first valentines card from Dr. Bailey today along with a Beanie Baby Butterfly.
She is scheduled for surgery next Wednesday Feb. 18th first thing in the morning. We have a pre-op appointment this Friday in the morning to fill out papers, get her labs done, meet everyone, and take a tour. They will let us know then what time to be there Wednesday morning. She will be the first pediatric surgery that day so it will be early. I will post her scheduled time when we find out. Thank you for continuing to keep our family and especially our baby in your prayers.

I am Rene' Owens' Mom...Rene' knows you from Piggies and Paws. She has shared your blog and I am keeping up on Addie. Our precious Kayla, almost 6, had surgery at the age of three to close a hole. She was able to have a cathater procedure. She has been such a ball of fire...we thought she was already...since then. I can't know how you are feeling as a Mom...but I do know how YOUR mother is feeling...and as I sit here with tears right now listening to Kayla (she is with me today because of a sinus infection) I know that you will be just as blessed for an even more healthy baby at the end of this journey. Please know that there are MANY prayers going out for your family. ;>)
Hi guys,
You will be in our thoughts and prayers! Sending our love from Chicago.
Love,

We're all praying and passing on the prayer requests! MOPS is so wonderful and we'll do our best to take care of you and the beautiful family God has blessed you with! Please don't hesitate to ask for help!

I'll be relaying information about the surgery tonight at church as well as Sunday. Count on many wonderful Christian friends to be lifting sweet Addie's name to the Lord for His continued love and care for all of you.
Your Texas Mom
I have been deeply moved by your story. I pray for Addison and her family daily and have added her to all prayer requests that I make. Our God is an awesome man and I truly believe that He will take care of Addison.
